A wonderful thing has been accomplished for a deserving member of our community. J.B. Kerns, who sacrificed his legs for his country, now will have a home of his own. The one thing we cherish so much in this country is having a roof over our heads that is paid for.
Even in times of Veterans Administration cuts by national government, I am happy to see our community cares about those who served, and a man willing to take the battle to the enemy, rather than have the enemy on our doorstep, will have something to show for what he lost. God bless all who are helping this warrior have a home of his own, local and national. There is a reason we have Memorial Day, remember!
