Kristen Nicole Ingram and Tejae Kyle Petty, both of Little Rock, Ark., were married on May 27 at The Hudson Manor Estate in Louisburg, N.C. Gary Williams performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Gray and Yvonne Ingram of Franklinton, N.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Sam and Marie Ingram, Clara E. Houston and James F. Neeley.
The bridegroom is the son of David and Victoria Petty of Oxford, N.C. He is the grandson of Alice Sisson of Beaverdam and the late Charles Sisson, and the late David and Ethel Petty. He is the great-grandson of Flossie Quensen of Richmond.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless gown with a beaded bodice and multi-layered skirt. She carried a bouquet of roses and coral satin.
Victoria Barnett of Charlotte, N.C., was the maid of honor. She wore a coral chiffon strapless dress and carried a bouquet of multi-colored roses.
Bridesmaids were Dorothea Ohlandt of Virginia Beach; Melanie Dunkum and sister of the bridegroom Tara Petty of Richmond; and Loren Littrell of Wichita, Kan. Their dresses and bouquets matched those of the maid of honor.
Madisyn Phillips, cousin of the bridegroom and daughter of Kari Talley of Richmond, was the flower girl.
Sam Bailey of Durham, N.C., was the best man.
Groomsmen were Philip Taylor and Mike Jones of Henderson, N.C.; Justin Davidson of Oxford; and brother of the bride Nicholas Ingram of Franklinton.
A reception was held at the estate.
The couple took a honeymoon in Barbados.
They live in Little Rock.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of South Granville High School in Creedmoor, N.C., and a 2007 graduate of East Carolina University in Greenville with a bachelor’s degree in merchandising. She is an assistant buyer for Dillard’s Department Stores.
The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of South Granville High School in Creedmoor and a 2005 graduate of Vance Granville Community College in Henderson. He is an assistant store manager at GameStop.
Prior to the wedding, the couple was honored on the following occasion: June 5, 2011, an engagement party in Franklinton, hosted by Gray and Yvonne Ingram; and May 26, a rehearsal dinner in Raleigh, hosted by David and Victoria Petty.
