Celebration 2012 at Martinsville Speedway: Headliners are Darryl Worley, Bo Bice and David Lee Murphy. Children’s rides open from 5-11:30 p.m.; concert begins at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks. The event, including children’s rides, will be free. The speedway’s concession stands will be open with items at reduced prices.
United Way of Henry County/Martinsville will host the fourth annual Fuels for Families: 5-11 p.m at Celebration 2012 at the Martinsville Speedway. Needed are non-perishables foods and personal care items, such as beef stew, soups, peanut butter, canned vegetables, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. Collection stations will be at entrance gates and by the carnival rides.
