HENRY COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
COMPLIANCE GUIDELINES

Henry County Public Schools does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, political affiliation, sex, gender, age, marital status, genetic information or disability in its employment practices or educational programs and provides equal access to the Boy Scouts and other designated youth groups. Mrs. Christy Landon, Director of Human Resources, is designated as Title IX Compliance Officer for non-discrimination regarding personnel matters under Section 504, the American with Disabilities Act and Title IX. Mrs. Rebecca Wells, Director of Special Education and Student Support Services, is designated as the coordinator of non-discrimination for access to and implementation of programs under Section 504 and the American with Disabilities Act. Specific complaints of alleged discrimination under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act should be referred to Mrs. Amy Scott, Coordinator of Student Services. It is the intent of Henry County Public Schools to comply with both the letter and spirit of the law in making certain that discrimination does not exist in its policies, regulations, and operations. Grievance procedures for Title IX, Title VI and Section 504 have been established for students, parents, and employees who feel discrimination has been shown by the Henry County Public Schools.
