By some Hispanic residents in area

For some members of the Hispanic community living in the Martinsville area, President Barack Obama’s executive actions on immigration were an answer to prayer, an occasion for shedding tears and expressing joy.
“We are very thankful to the president ... for taking this action,” said Tony Lopez, pastor of the largely Hispanic Iglesia Cristiana Agape church in Collinsville.
“I think it’s good,” said Jamie Herrera, pastor of Casa de Alabanza, an Hispanic church in Ridgeway. “I think it’s very good for everybody. It’s good for the country.”
