BREAKING NEWS: Remains belong to missing U.Va. student
Hannah Graham disappeared Sept. 13

RICHMOND (AP) — Authorities say remains found Oct. 18 in a rural area are that of University of Virginia student Hannah Graham.

Graham disappeared Sept. 13 after a night out with friends.

The remains were found about 12 miles from campus.

The man Graham was last seen with, 32-year-old Jesse Leroy Matthew Jr., has been charged with abduction with intent to defile Graham.

The business community in Henry County and Martinsville has a semi-annual opportunity that few other communities enjoy, NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) Executive Producer Sam Flood said Thursday.

“The opportunity to have 50-60,000 people stream through the stands and be at the races is as big a business as you can have,” Flood said. “With the Chase (for the Sprint Cup) the way it is now (featuring a knockout format), there’s even more excitement around the race this weekend.”

Doctor in N.Y.C. has Ebola

NEW YORK (AP) — An emergency room doctor who recently returned to the city after treating Ebola patients in West Africa has tested positive for the virus, Mayor Bill de Blasio said. It’s the first case in the city and the fourth in the nation.
