Charles D. Wingfield, Pastor died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012. He was a preacher of the Gospel.
Beloved husband of Ruth E. (Davis) Wingfield; dear father and father-in-law of Doug (Lisa) Wingfield, Steve (Beth) Wingfield, Melody (Scott) Sutherland, Tim (Joy) Wingfield, Mindy (Marcelle) Sams and Paul (Julia) Wingfield; dear grandfather of 19; great grandfather of 3; dear son of Julia and the late Harvey Wingfield; dear brother of William and Gorden Wingfield; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many. He served in the ministry for 55 years.
Burial will be near his family home in Martinsville Virginia. A memorial service will be held at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, Monday December 17th at 11:00 a.m.
