Cheese Ball
Contributed by:
  • 2 pkg. of cream cheese
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can crushed pineapple in its own juice, well drained
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 medium sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium green, yellow, or red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup real bacon bits
  • 2 TBS Worcestershire sauce
  • Rich round crackers
  • 1/2 cup sliced toasted almonds
In large bowl mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, pineapple, 1 cup of the pecans, onion, bell pepper, bacon bits, Worcestershire sauce. Shape into pine cone. Cover and refrigerate 12 to 24 hours.
Before serving, coat outside of ball with almonds, insert almonds in rows to completely cover cream cheese mixture. Serve with crackers.
