  • for the meat balls:
  • 2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 1 cup packaged corn flake crumbs
  • 1/3 cup dried parsley flakes
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 TBS soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 TBS instant minced onion
  • for the sauce:
  • 1 lb. can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 2 TBS firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 TBS bottled lemon juice
  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all ingredients for the meatballs and mix well. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of small walnuts. Arrange the meat balls in a large baking dish. In a saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients; stir over moderate heat until smooth and melted. Pour the sauce over the meat balls. Bake for 30 minutes. Makes 130 balls.
