Ham and cheese muffins

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1â�„2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1â�„2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1â�„2 cup finely chopped fully cooked ham
  • 1â�„2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
In a large bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. In a separate bowl combine the remaining ingredients; stir mixture into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full; bake for 16 to 18 minutes or until muffins test done.
Makes one dozen.
