  • 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 3 oz. package lemon gelatin
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup whipped topping
Combine the pineapple and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil; boil for 3 minutes. Add the gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add the cream cheese and stir until mixed; cool. Fold in the apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch square pan and chill.
