VEGETABLE SOUP
Soups

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs. stew beef or cubes or 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can whole-kernel corn
  • 1 can peas
  • 1 large stalk celery, sliced
  • 1 large can V-8 juice
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • 32 oz. water
  • 3 or 4 beef bullion cubes
  • 1 can green beans
  • 3 large carrots, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large can tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Mrs. Dash
  • 2 large potatoes, cubed
  • 1â�„2 cup macaroni
Brown beef, strain and rinse. Put beef in an 8-quart pot. Add the remaining ingredients, except potatoes and macaroni, and simmer for 11�2 hours. Add the potatoes and macaroni and simmer 30 minutes. Add more water as needed while cooking.
