LEMON POUND CAKE

Ingredients:
  • 11â�„2 cups sugar
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1â�„4 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 11â�„2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1â�„4 tsp. baking powder.
  • 1â�„2 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the sugar, butter and oil together by hand; add eggs and lemon flavoring. Mix in the dry ingredients and milk. Do not use a mixer.
Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for one hour and 15 minutes.
