  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 TBS cornmeal
  • 1 TBS all-purpose flour
  • 1?4 tsp. salt
  • 1?2 cup melted butter
  • 1?4 cup milk
  • 1 TBS white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 TBS cocoa or 1?3 cup lemon juice
  • 3 unbaked pie shells
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Stir together the sugar, cornmeal, flour, salt, butter, milk, vinegar, vanilla and eggs; beat well. Stir in the cocoa or lemon juice. Pour into pie shells and bake 50-60 minutes.
