  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 (12 ounce) can diet cola (sweetend with Splenda)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 TBS mustard
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
  • Hot sauce, to taste
Saute the onion over medium heat until soft, about three minutes. Mix all other ingredients except the hot sauce and add to the onion. Simmer about 20 minutes, adding watter if the mixture gets too thick. Stir in the hot sauce. Makes about 2 1/2 cups of sauce.
