BOURBON PECAN BREAD PUDDING

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup roasted pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • pecans to sprinkle on top
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Break bread and lay in 9- by 13-inch casserole dish.
Mix other ingredients (except pecans for the top). Pour over bread. Bake for 45 minutes.
Sauce:
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup bourbon
Mix ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir. Pour onto baked pudding.
