  • 12-inch baguette (1 day old)
  • vegetable oil to fill deep fryer
  • 1 TBS black pepper
  • 1 TBS smoked paprika
  • 1 TBS granulated sugar
  • 1 TBS granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Slice bread lengthwise into thin pieces.
Mix all seasonings together.
Heat oil.
Fry each thin bread slice in oil until brown (roughly 2 minutes each). Remove from oil and drain on paper.
Lightly sprinkle each piece with seasoning mixture.
Serve with dipping sauce.
