Macaroni and Cheese
Vegetables & Side Dishes

  • 1 1/2 lb. elbow noodles
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 12 slices American cheese
  • 4 cups shredded four-cheese blend
Cook noodles 20 to 25 minutes or until done. Drain.
In a large dish, put half of the noodles. sprinkle salt and pepper and 1 tsp. sugar, 1/4 cup milk, 6 slices cheese, 2 cups shredded cheese. Cut butter into small pieces and evenly divide between layers. Repeat until ingredients run out.
Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
