ASPARAGUS PASTA SALAD

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. fresh asparagus
  • 1 (8 oz.) package vermicelli
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
Cut asparagus into 2-inch pieces.
Cook vermicelli according to package directions. Add asparagus to cooking water in the last minute of cooking. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again.
Put pasta and asparagus into a large bowl and add remaining ingredients, tossing to coat. Chill.
