'Anyone Can Fix It
Vegetables & Side Dishes

  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 3 to 4 cups raw squash, washed and sliced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 TBS sugar
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add squash and onion. Pour in 1/4 cup water. Then add the other ingredients.
Cook over medium heat until the squash and onion are tender and most of the liquid is evaporated. Stir often to keep from sticking.
