CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 TBS cocoa
  • 1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter, oil and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk, mixing until creamy. Pour mixture into greased tube pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
Frost or glaze as desired.
