Herb butter

Ingredients:
1�2 cup to 1 cup fresh herb of choice
1 lb. unsalted butter

Finely chop herbs and fold into softened butter. Let mixture stand for several hours at room temperature, then refrigerate for several days to bring out the flavor. Garnish with fresh herbs.
It can be frozen for several months. Spread on toasted bread or add to a baked potato. Best choices are basil, oregano, thyme and chives.
