Creamed Cheese Pound Cake
Contributed by:
  • 8-oz. cream cheese (softened)
  • 3 sticks butter (softened)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs (at room temperature)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
Blend cream cheese and butter together, then blend in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, a small amount at a time. Add vanilla. Beat well. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan (or use baking spray on tube pan so you can avoid flouring). Put into cold oven and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, 30 minutes.
