POTATOES GRATIN
Vegetables & Side Dishes

Ingredients:
  • 4 oz. Gruyere cheese
  • 4 large baking potatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 oz. cream
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grate cheese. Peel the potatoes and cut across the width into thin slices. Spray an 8 inch glass baking dish cooking spray. Arrange 1�3 of the slices, overlapping, in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with a 1�4 teaspoon of salt and pepper. Cover with 1�3 of the cheese. Make 2 more layers of potatoes and cheese and salt and pepper. Pour the cream over the top. Bake for 25 minutes and press the potatoes down firmly with a spatula. Cook for 25 minutes longer until golden brown. Serves 6.
