Pineapple upside-down cake

Ingredients:
  • 2 cans crushed pineapple
  • 1 box yellow cake mix plus ingredients called for
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1â�„2 stick of butter
Pour crushed pineapple into a pan with brown sugar and butter. Bring to boil and let simmer for 15 minutes. Mix yellow cake mix as directed with the ingredients called for on the box. After pineapple mixture finishes simmering, pour into large cake pan and spread evenly. Pour cake batter evenly over the pineapple mixture. Bake as directed on cake mix box. Once finished baking, let cool 3-4 hours. Keeping cake in the pan, cover cake with whipped topping
