Pretzel salad

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 3 TBS sugar
  • 3â�„4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces whipped cream
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 (6 ounce) strawberry gelatin
  • 1 (20 ounce) pack of frozen strawberries
Mix crushed pretzels with 3 TBS sugar and margarine in a baking dish. Press mixture into bottom of dish. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and cool. Beat 1 cup sugar, cream cheese and whipped cream together. Spread on top of pretzel layer. Mix boiling water and gelatin together and add strawberries. Let stand 10 minutes. Pour over cream cheese and whipped cream layer. Chill one hour before serving.
