APPLE RUM RAISIN PIE
Desserts

Ingredients:
  • Crust:
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4 cup ground pecans
  • 6 TBS butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 2/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp. rum extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 TBS all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. apples
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 stick butter
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped
Crust:
Combine and press in bottom of a 9 inch pan. Refrigerate.
Filling:
Whisk together the sour cream, brown sugar, egg, rum extract, vanilla extract, flour and salt. Add apples and raisins and pour into pan. Smooth top.
Topping:
Blend flour, brown sugar and butter until crumbly then add pecans and blend in. Add topping to pie and bake 50 to 55 minutes at 375 degrees.
