WALNUT FUDGE PIE

1â�„2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1â�„4 cup all-purpose flour
1â�„4 cup butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels, melted
11â�„2 cup walnut pieces or halves
1 refrigerated 9-inch pie crust
Ice cream (optional)
Combine brown sugar, flour, butter, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl, stirring until blended. Stir in melted chocolate and walnuts. Spoon filling into pie crust.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Serve each slice with a scoop of ice cream, if desired.
