2 TBS corn oil
2 cups cooked beans (like pintos)
Salt to taste
Heat the oil over medium. Put in the onion wedge and let it sizzle for several minutes, just enough to flavor the oil, then remove it.
Carefully spoon the beans into the oil. With a masher, mash the beans well and allow to cook for 10 or 15 minutes.
