2 cups water
1/4 cup raw cashew pieces, rinsed
1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 1/2 TBS debittered brewerâ€™s yeast
1 TBS fresh lemon juice
1/2 can mild Rotel tomatoes, drained
1/2 bag meal Morning Star Starter Crumbles
In a blender, process cashews in 1/2 cup water until smooth. Add other ingredients and blend. Pour into a heavy saucepan and heat until thick and bubbling, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add Rotel and crumbles. Serve hot with chips or crackers.
