Baked Ziti

Ingredients:
  • 8 ounce ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 8-16 ounce mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 TBS parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 lb. hamburger meat, browned and drained
  • 6-oz. box of ziti noodles, cooked for six minutes
  • 50-60 ounces of spaghetti sauce
Mix ricotta cheese, egg, one cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and the parsley flakes.
Prepare ziti by adding noodles to drained meat with 1-2 cups of sauce and stir to combine. Prepare using sauce of preference.

Assemble ziti. Start with a layer of sauce in the bottom of the pan, then a layer of noodle/meat mixture, then ricotta cheese mixture, then mozzarella cheese, then sauce, then noodle/meat mixture. Cover with sauce and mozzarella cheese and sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese and parsley on top.
Bake in 350 oven for 45-60 minutes (depending on the size dish you make it in, this will vary).
