  • For cake:
  • 11â�„2 cups oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 TBS vanilla
  • 3 cups chopped apples
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • For topping:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1â�„4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 stick butter
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake for one hour and 15 minutes. Let cake cool on wire rack for 20 minutes then place on a cake plate and top with topping.
For topping, combine all ingredients and bring to a boil; boil for 21�2 minutes. Spread on warm cake.
