THAI SPICY CARROT SALAD

Ingredients:
5 cloves garlic
4-5 green beans, uncooked
4-5 Thai bird chilies or 1�2 habanero pepper
2 lbs. carrots, peeled and shredded
2 roma or plum tomatoes, diced
1�2 lime, juiced
2 TBS fish sauce (available in Asian food stores)
dash of sugar
With a mortar and pestle, grind the garlic, green beans and peppers until evenly pulverized. Add carrots, tomatoes, lime juice, fish sauce and sugar, and continue to grind until mixed. Refrigerate before serving.
