1 cup sour cream
1â�„3 cup light brown sugar
12 slices frozen French toast
1â�„2 lb. sliced boiled ham
21â�„2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
1 can apple pie filling
1 cup granola with raisins
Blend the sour cream and brown sugar; chill and reserve.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place six slices of French toast in a greased 13-by-9-inch baking dish. Layer ham and one cup of cheese over the toast. Add remaining French toast and layer ham and 1 cup cheese again.
Spread apple pie filling over the top and sprinkle with granola.
Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining cheese; bake 5 more minutes.
Serve hot with sour cream sauce.
